TN12 and TN13 are Tenola short sleeve tri-suits offering all the performance features of more expensive suits on the market. The suit has been designed with improved cooling, breathability and comfort on the bike, and run.

The main fabric is Revolutional™ Energy by Carvico: techno-fabric featuring a high shaping power. The excellent muscular compression guaranteed by the extraordinary tenacity of the fabric helps reduce the production of lactic acid and the consequent muscular strain and thus enhances sport performance. Moreover, Revolutional™ Energy has been awarded several quality and performance certificates.

The other material used on the tri-suit is Carvico Spider: an innovative bi-elastic micro-mesh made of polyamide which is naturally moisture wicking and leaves the skin fresh and dry, preventing unpleasant itches.

The fabric has been treated with cold black. Coldblack® finishing technology offers two-fold protection for textiles exposed to the sun. Coldblack® reduces the absorption of sunlight while providing reliable protection from harmful UV rays UPF 50+. Therefore, dark colours, in particular, heat up less, even in direct sunlight and stay cool to the touch. Applied to clothing the wearer perspires less, is comfortable and is capable of greater performance.

Revolutional® fabrics with coldblack® technology unite the features of Carvico’s hi-tech family Revolutional® with Schoeller Technologies AG’s coldblack® Sun Reflector. The fabric fits like a second skin, dries rapidly and guarantees exceptional breathability, keeping the body fresh and active. It is extremely light and ultrafine, is abrasion and pilling resistant, with a thickness reduced to 50% of classic silk charmeuse, yet at the same time it ensures optimum coverage. It is ultra-resistant to chlorine – thanks to the fabric’s innovative construction and the use of Xtra Life LYCRA® .

On the bike and run the Revolutional™ Energy  is fast drying, has excellent breathability and provides muscle compression to reduce muscle fatigue where it is needed without restricting movement. Two pockets designed into the suit for carrying gel bars have been positioned on the sides, allowing easy access while on the bike or on the run discipline.

The IRON PERFORMANCE chamois is from the world renowned manufacturer, Cytech. The chamois is designed for long distance triathlon races and Ironman races. Maximum fit and protection come together in a special tri pad with an additional high density perineal insert. This alleviates the negative consequences coming from elevated pressure due to the typical position triathletes take when sitting on the nose of the saddle. With the new X-Fifty fabric, the high level of elasticity assures utmost freedom of movement when swimming and running.

The key design features of the garment include:

  • An internal zip material flap to help minimise any discomfort from the zip chafing.
  • Front zip to provide extra ventilation during the cycle and run.
  • Silicone leg grippers prevent any movement of the shorts and prevent chafing.
  • Flat locked stitching though out for minimum discomfort against the skin.
  • Triathlon specific pad from Italian manufacturer Cytech. Lightweight construction, perforated foam for extra breathability and quick drying micro-fibre face fabric, for superior freedom of movement.
  • 2 deep slim storage pockets ideal for nutrition or valuables on the sides for ease access while on the cycle or run discipline.
  • Light weight triathlon suit weighing in at less than 185g (dry).

The TN12/TN13 tri-suit has been designed for triathlons up to Ironman distances.
